Horsemanship Through Knowledge

Who we are

Erie Hunt and Saddle Club is now in its 6th decade of providing the concept of "Horsemanship Through Knowledge" which was adopted by the board in 1962. Our club consists of more than 50 acres of property on the corner of Eureka and Old State Roads in Franklin Center, just outside Erie, Pennsylvania. We are easily accessible from I-90 and I-79. We are the region's premier non-profit location for equine education, shows, and events.

What we have

Our riding grounds include three sand show rings, permanent stabling for 110 horses (with running water and electric), and an announcer's stand with a sound system, and a clubhouse with a kitchen and seating areas. We also added a nine hole disc golf course to continue to utilize portions of the unused areas of the property.

What we do

Events are held May through October. In addition to the horse shows, we offer clinics, and equine training throughout the year. We work with area youth groups including Pony Club, Interscholastic Equestrian Association and 4H Club. We also try to provide other horse and non-horse related activities.
